1. About this Cookies Policy

This Cookies Policy explains how SalDestiny uses cookies and similar technologies on saldestiny.com, including the SalDestiny Radio player at saldestiny.com/saldestinyradio/saldestiny-radio-player-v4.html.

It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how SalDestiny processes personal data.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They can allow a website to remember a choice, maintain a session, understand how the service is used or measure whether advertising has been effective.

Similar technologies, including pixels, tracking scripts, local browser storage, heatmaps and session-replay technologies, may perform related functions.

Cookies may be:

• First-party cookies: set by SalDestiny or the saldestiny.com domain.
• Third-party cookies: set or read by an external provider such as Google, Microsoft or Meta.
• Session cookies: deleted when you close the browser.
• Persistent cookies: retained until their expiry date or until you delete them.

3. How consent works

Cookies that are strictly necessary for a service requested by the visitor may be used without optional-cookie consent.

Analytics, behavioural analysis, advertising and similar non-essential technologies should only be activated after the visitor makes an affirmative choice where consent is required by law.

Our consent controls should offer clear options to accept or reject optional cookies. Merely continuing to browse, scrolling or remaining on a page is not treated as consent.

You can reject optional cookies and continue browsing SalDestiny or listening to SalDestiny Radio.

Your choice in the radio player is stored for up to 180 days in a first-party cookie called saldestiny_optional_cookies. You can change that choice later using the radio player’s cookie settings control or by deleting the cookie in your browser.

4. Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary and functional cookies

These cookies support security, navigation, session management, account access or the storage of your privacy choice. They are used when necessary to provide a function you have requested.

Blocking these cookies through the browser may cause parts of the website to stop working correctly.

Analytics cookies

With your consent where required, analytics cookies help us understand how many people visit SalDestiny, which pages they use, how they arrived at the website and how the website performs.

SalDestiny may use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for these purposes.

Behavioural analytics technologies

Microsoft Clarity helps us understand how visitors interact with the website through behavioural metrics, clicks, scrolling, heatmaps and session replays.

These technologies are used to identify navigation problems, improve usability and understand which content visitors find useful.

Advertising and measurement cookies

With your consent, these technologies help us measure whether a SalDestiny advertisement resulted in a website visit or radio listening action.

The SalDestiny Radio player uses the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement and campaign optimisation.

The cookies that may be used include the following. Exact cookies and durations may vary depending on the feature used, browser, consent choice and provider configuration.

6. Meta Pixel on SalDestiny Radio

The SalDestiny Radio player uses Meta Pixel ID 1624936025915155 after optional advertising and measurement cookies have been accepted.

The following events may then be sent to Meta:

• PageView: the radio player page was viewed.
• RadioPlay: playback was started.
• Listen30Seconds: playback continued for at least 30 seconds.
• Listen3Minutes: playback continued for at least 3 minutes.

The Pixel may also process the page URL, date and time, browser and device information, IP address and online identifiers.

The radio implementation does not intentionally send the current song title to Meta. Meta may use the information under its own terms and may combine it with other information it holds.

7. Google Analytics

Where Google Analytics is enabled and you have provided any consent required by law, Google Analytics may use _ga and cookies beginning with _ga_ to distinguish visitors, maintain session state and produce usage statistics.

Information processed may include a client identifier, page and event information, device and browser data and approximate location.

8. Microsoft Clarity

Where enabled and subject to the visitor’s consent choices, SalDestiny uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the website.

Clarity may use first-party and third-party cookies, tracking scripts and similar technologies to collect information about:

• Pages visited and navigation paths.
• Clicks, scrolling and mouse or touch interactions.
• Time spent on pages and general engagement.
• Browser, operating system, device and screen information.
• IP address and approximate location.
• Website performance and page-rendering information.
• Pseudonymous browser and session identifiers.

This information may be used to produce behavioural metrics, heatmaps and session replays. SalDestiny uses these functions to identify usability problems and improve the structure, content and performance of the website.

Clarity cookies should only be set after a valid consent signal has been received where consent is required. If analytics cookies are rejected, full cookie-based session linking and related Clarity functions should remain disabled.

9. Bing Webmaster Tools

SalDestiny uses Bing Webmaster Tools to understand how the website appears and performs in Bing search results.

Website ownership may be verified through a meta tag, verification file, plugin or DNS record. This verification does not normally require optional cookies to be placed on visitors’ devices.

Bing Webmaster Tools is separate from Microsoft Clarity. The browser-level behavioural analytics described in this policy are provided through Clarity.

If SalDestiny introduces Microsoft Advertising, Universal Event Tracking or another Microsoft advertising technology in the future, this policy and the consent controls will be updated accordingly.

10. How to manage or withdraw consent

You can manage cookies in several ways:

• Use the accept or reject controls displayed when optional cookies are offered.
• Use the cookie settings control available on the main SalDestiny website.
• Use the cookie settings control in the SalDestiny Radio player to reopen the radio player’s choice.
• Delete or block cookies through your browser settings.

Withdrawing consent stops the future use of the relevant optional technologies on the browser concerned, but does not affect processing that lawfully occurred before withdrawal.

Deleting all cookies may cause the consent notice to appear again. Browser controls vary, so consult your browser’s help pages for current instructions.

Blocking all cookies may affect login, privacy preferences or other requested website functions.

11. International data transfers

Google, Microsoft, Meta and other providers may process data in countries outside your place of residence or outside the European Economic Area.

Where applicable, international transfers must be covered by a recognised safeguard, such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another valid transfer mechanism.
