These Terms and Conditions govern the use of saldestiny.com and the services and content made available through SalDestiny, including its local directory, editorial content and SalDestiny Radio.

SalDestiny is an independent travel and local information platform focused on Sal Island, Cabo Verde.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using SalDestiny, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to comply with them.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should stop using the website and its services.

3. Nature of the platform

SalDestiny provides general information about Sal Island, local businesses, accommodation, activities, transport, services, culture and travel-related topics.

SalDestiny may refuse, correct, suspend or remove a listing that is inaccurate, unlawful, outdated, misleading or inconsistent with the purpose of the platform.

Businesses should contact SalDestiny if their published information needs to be corrected or removed.

6. Accuracy of information

SalDestiny makes reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate information, but local conditions can change quickly.

Opening hours, prices, availability, transport schedules, entry requirements, contact details, activities and service conditions may change without notice.

7. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the website’s structure, design, branding, texts, graphics, photographs, videos, audio, logos and other original content belong to SalDestiny or are used with permission from their respective owners.

You may view and share links to publicly available SalDestiny pages for personal and non-commercial purposes.

You may not reproduce, republish, sell, distribute, modify or commercially exploit SalDestiny content without prior written authorisation, except where permitted by law.

Third-party trademarks, logos, photographs and business materials remain the property of their respective owners.

8. SalDestiny Radio

SalDestiny Radio is an online streaming service available through the SalDestiny website, including the player located at saldestiny.com/saldestinyradio/saldestiny-radio-player-v4.html.

The radio stream is provided for personal listening. Access to the player does not transfer ownership or grant a licence to commercially exploit the music, programmes, jingles, voice recordings, artwork or other audio content.

Without written authorisation, users must not:

• Record, download or extract the radio stream.
• Rebroadcast or redistribute the stream.
• Use the audio in videos, advertisements, public events or commercial premises.
• Remove or alter branding, metadata or copyright information.
• Circumvent technical measures or use automated systems to capture the stream.

Radio programming, tracks, schedules and availability may change without notice. Playback may be interrupted by maintenance, internet connectivity, server problems or circumstances outside SalDestiny’s control.

9. Third-party businesses and services

SalDestiny may display information about local businesses and link to websites, booking services, social networks or other external platforms.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, SalDestiny:
